This two-session workshop is for beginners and experienced students who love hand building in clay! During the first session, students will learn how to create one or multiple pieces (1–3), using basic methods of construction in clay. Some building forms examples include using slabs and coils. Students will have the choice of making a functional or sculptural creation. In the second session, students will be provided demonstrations and guidance on how to glaze their finished pieces. Clay will need to be purchased the day of the workshop. The materials fee covers the cost of bisque firing, usage of glazes, and glaze firing.
