Transform your photograph into an exciting painting! In this class, students will consider different ways to redesign photos through editing, cropping, experimenting with color, scale, and more. The instructor will show a variety of artists for students to discuss. Students will create a sketch of basic shapes and values before painting, which will establish a strong foundation. Individual support and a friendly atmosphere will inspire their creativity. Students may work in their choice of paint media and bring their own references to work from. The instructor will provide some references as well.
