If you're hoping to hone your skills and challenge yourself, this might be the workshop for you! In this two-part workshop, students will dive into the complex and amazing world of teapots. Teapots are a beautiful blend of aesthetics and functionality. Students will learn to design and assemble multiple elements—the body, lid, spout, and handle—into a cohesive and aesthetic whole. This workshop is designed for intermediate and advanced wheel throwing students. On the day of the workshop, students will need to purchase their own bag of clay. Students can finish their tea pots during class time if they are currently enrolled in a class or, they can purchase independent practice in ceramics sessions. The materials fee covers the firing fee and equipment usage.
