This immersive mixed media workshop invites students to explore the full creative journey—from concept to completion—while producing a finished, small-scale artwork. Working on compact cradled panels with raised edges (½”–1”), students will enjoy both structure and creative freedom, making the project achievable within this two-day workshop. Students will be able to incorporate a variety of materials into their piece such as wood, feathers, wire, etc. The workshop balances hands-on experimentation with thoughtful guidance, empowering students to transform ideas into expressive, well-crafted pieces using materials of their choice. Students are encouraged to bring their own found objects they wish to incorporate into their piece.
